Hello, my name is Melissa Teindl. I am currently in Year 3 of the East Kootenay Teacher Education Program through University of Victoria. I moved to the East Kootenay’s 5 years ago with my husband, 3 children and our dog Bella.
I have wanted to become a teacher for as long as I can remember and am excited to be part of the program. I love working with children and helping them to discover their full potential and educational capabilities. When I am not in the classroom, you can usually find me on an outdoor adventure such as camping, hiking, snowshoeing, golfing, paddle boarding or just relaxing with my family. I love to travel and plan to bring aspects of the world into my future classroom.
